Star Wars: The Last Jedi Filmed in Ireland

In December 2015, Ireland made its debut in the Star Wars Universe, as the ancient Plant Ahch-To. Leaving us with a tantalising view of Luke Skywalkers mysterious new home.

The stunning Island, referred to as Ahch-To, is in fact heavily based on Skellig Michael, a UNESCO World Heritage site, off the coast of Kerry.
